Raducanu Training

Emma Raducanu is excited to have a familiar face rejoin her team ahead of the Australian Open. She has changed coaches more times than most players in their whole careers.

After some late withdrawals, Raducanu received straight entry into the Australian Open main draw. She is currently gearing up for a Grand Slam comeback, having missed the French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open last year due to injury.

Following surgeries on both wrists and one ankle in April, the 2021 US Open champion made a brilliant comeback to the court on Tuesday at the ASB Classic in Auckland.

However, Raducanu now has an opportunity to perform in Melbourne due to the withdrawal of players rated in the top 100 of the WTA rankings, and she will have renowned and experienced coach Nick Cavaday by her side.

Recently, the young British player was seen training hard on the court ahead of the much-anticipated Australian Open and the first Grand Slam of the season.
