Kyrgios trashed in Cincinnati

Bad boy Nick Kyrgios is struggling to re-group after the unnecessary mess he has created in Montreal (see article).

The Australian had to face Richard Gasquet in the opener, but his mood was not great and his focus wasn’t there anymore. So it was nice for Gasquet to trash him 6-2 6-1 in just 56 minutes.

Kyrgios: It was difficult to concentrate …

Nick is struggling with all the criticism he has received and he will likely be suspended by the ATP to comment “Today was obviously hard to concentrate. I couldn’t really do too much; I thought I played a really solid match. He was too good.”

… it’s probably good to rest

The Australian added I’m not a guy that needs too many matches before I play in a Grand Slam, so it’s almost good preparation for me to go into the U.S. Open. Rest — I think it’s probably a good thing for me at the moment.”

Kyrgios declined to comment about his or his family remarks.

Better for him to stay away from tennis for some time (6 months?)

WELL… AT LEAST HE COULD VOLLEY!
