This is a great time for Amelie Mauresmo!
Her “pupil” Andy Murray has won a very important tournament in Monrteal and more important (much more important) she gave birth to a baby boy!
The announcement came from Andy Murray during the Rogers Cup ceremony “I’m not sure she would have stay up to watch, but Amelie, this one’s for you.”.
Then Andy added “I don’t know much detail because, yeah, we just saw a picture of her and the baby this morning when we got up. I haven’t spoken to her or anything,” he said. “I would imagine she’s quite tired. Probably me and my tennis are the last thing on her mind just now, which is totally understandable.”
Andy in the mean time is training with Jonas Bjorkman, but we are sure he can’t wait to have Amelie back at his side.
