Naomi Osaka seems to be in a great mental space. After winning the first match after more than 1 year in Brisbane, the Japanese sensation capitulated to Karolina Pliskova in the second round. While before her pregnancy, Naomi used to be depressed after losing matches, it seems that she is now taking it much better. After losing to Pliskova she commented:
“I think when I’m playing and I’m at my best, I’m just really putting my entire soul into every point. So, I don’t know, it was fun to play that and rediscover that feeling again.”
