Kyrgios. Hewitt is my mentor

Lleyton Hewitt wasn’t an easy character at the beginning of his career and Nick Kyrgios is not any better.

For this reason Lleyton could be the perfect person to “right” Kyrgios also because the Australian veteran eventually managed to be the world no.1, so he knows what is talking about from direct experience.

Kyrgios: He is not my coach

Nick made it clear the terms of Hewitt’s involvement to say “He’s not my coach. Let’s clear that up now. He’s more of a mentor. Lleyton is very kind to take time away from his family and his career to help me and Thanasi [Kokkinakis]. We don’t know how long it will last but it is a great help.”

Fortunately the first match after the new “mentorship” went rather well with Kyrgios defeating Verdasco in Montreal 6-3 4-6 6-4.

Kyrgios will play next Stan Wawrinka.

THE PARTNERSHIP IS A GOOD IDEA…

….BUT, CAN LLEYTON FIX THE HAIRCUT?
