Emma Raducanu is scheduled to make her eagerly anticipated tennis comeback at the Auckland Open as she attempts to move over her injury issues. To address the problems she had been facing, the 21-year-old, who last competed at the Stuttgart Open in April, had surgery on both her wrists and her ankle in May.
Now that she has been given a wild card for the WTA 250 tournament in New Zealand, which takes place from January 1–7, her recovery seems to be complete.
Raducanu was spotted spending some time in London on Christmas Eve. She shared the news with her followers on Instagram and uploaded some beautiful photos. She wrote: “Memorable moment, off for my first trip post-op, and feeling good!! bye, London.”
