With a hip injury sustained during the Australian Open, Rafael Nadal missed nearly all of 2023 due to injury, but his comeback to the ATP circuit is getting closer and closer. The Spaniard, who is the first player confirmed to play in the Barcelona Open 2024, is already considering clay.
The legendary Spanish tennis player will make his formal comeback in January at the Brisbane International. This will be his first competition in what is expected to be his final year of professional tennis, though that has not yet been decided.
Still, Nadal is considering how to be ready for Roland Garros, where he has won 14 titles to make history as the player with the most titles in the Open era. The Spaniard is the first player confirmed to compete in the Conde de Godó Trophy, better known as the Barcelona Open.
