Coach Darren Cahill said a big thank you to tennis player Jannik Sinner after they won an important award together. They got the Coach-Athlete Partnership of the Year award for their great teamwork.
Cahill was happy and said, “Working with Jannik has been amazing. He works really hard, and it inspires me. Thanks for inviting me into this Italian team with open arms. An honor to work alongside Simone, Umbe, Jack, Andrea, and with a wonderful young man in Jannik. Bring on 2024! “ Sinner also thanked Cahill, saying, “Darren helps me a lot.”
Their teamwork helped Sinner become a rising star in tennis. The award shows how well they work together and how much effort they put in. Cahill and Sinner want to inspire others with their teamwork and show how a coach and player can achieve big things when they work as a team in tennis.

Ranked world no.4 (career-high), Sinner played his last match on the 26th of November when he beat world no.12 Alex De Minaur 6-3 6-0 in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).
This season Jannik has a composed 64-15 match record. Jannik clinched 4 titles in 2023 in Montpellier, Toronto, Beijing and Vienna. Sinner was the runner-up in Rotterdam, Miami and the Nitto ATP Finals.
