Emma Raducanu is putting a lot of effort into getting ready to return to the tennis court in 2024. Raducanu recently gave her Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes look at her pre-season routine.
Raducanu has been in Hong Kong for the last few days, training and attending events organized by her business partner, HSBC. The 21-year-old shared a selfie on her Instagram story on Thursday, December 7, along with a description that detailed the rigorous nature of her schedule.
Raducannu wrote: “How it feels to complete the day coming straight to practice from T5 after a 15-flight flight. 2 tennis sessions + 1 gym. Don’t stop.”
Emma Raducanu had surgeries for injuries to her ankle and wrist, which kept her out of action for most of the 2023 season. When Raducanu made her final appearance in April at the 2023 Stuttgart Open, Jelena Ostapenko defeated her in straight sets.
The 2024 ASB Classic organizers revealed on Twitter on Thursday that Raducanu will be opening her season at the competition. The dates of the 2024 ASB Classic are January 1–13, 2024.
