Boris Becker responded to Hamad Medjedovic’s statement thanking Novak Djokovic for assisting him in developing in his playing career.

In two hours and eleven minutes at the King Abdullah Sports City, Medjedovic defeated Arthur Fils 3-4(6), 4-1, 4-2, 3-4(9), 4-1 to win the 2023 Next Gen ATP Finals.

After winning, Medjedovic conveyed his sincere appreciation for Djokovic’s influence in his life. He expressed his gratitude to the World No. 1 for all of his support, both materially and in terms of providing him courts and coaches.

The 20-year-old disclosed that Novak Djokovic still pays for all of the costs associated with his career, a gesture he finds incredibly meaningful.

Medjedovic expressed his thoughts and said: “He helped me a lot financially; he gave me courts, coaches, and everything a professional tennis player needs; he covered everything and paid for it. He definitely helped me a lot and he still helps me in every way he can. I’m glad he’s there for me.”

The legendary German tennis player Boris Becker responded to Medjedovic’s statement, thanking Novak Djokovic for helping him in his career. It was encouraging to see Medjedovic express gratitude for Djokovic’s assistance, Becker said.
