At the Tennis Fest GNP exhibition event in Mexico, Carlos Alcaraz performed some moves with singer Sebastian Yatra from Colombia.
At the Plaza de Toros Mexico on Wednesday, Alcaraz squared off against Tommy Paul. The Spaniard, who was playing in the Mexican capital for the first time, defeated Paul 7-6(3), 6-3 in one hour and fourteen minutes with a captivating display of play.
In addition, the current Guadalajara champion Maria Sakkari and the former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki faced off in a women’s singles match at the second edition of the Tennis Fest GNP. Sakkari won 6-3, 6-4 in straight sets against Wozniacki.
Sebastian Yatra, a pop and reggae music sensation, performed for the players and the spectators after the two duels. Por Fin Te Encontré and Vagabundo, among other hits, were performed by the singer with great intensity.
Alcaraz danced to the Colombian singer’s music on stage, smiling with happiness. The artist has previously performed at a tennis tournament. Sebastian Yatra was also invited to play in this year’s US Open. He tried his hand at tennis at the time as well, teaming up with Carlos Alcaraz for a charity match.
