Nick Kyrgios is scheduled to appear on TalkTV with Piers Morgan in an explosive interview that no one could have predicted. The show is expected to feature many controversial moments.
The two have had multiple online encounters over the years, and they bring up one such incident from 2016 when Morgan called Kyrgios a whiny little brat and humiliated him after Kyrgios lost to Andy Murray in a fierce Wimbledon match. The Australian used the hashtag EAD, which stands for “eat a d***,” in response to Morgan’s tweet.
Additionally, they discuss the incident in the interview trailer, where Kyrgios tells the British media personality, “Sometimes you are a bit of a d**k.” Kyrgios said: “I can be a douche on the tennis court. I think we’re very alike.”
They also talk about Kyrgios and his run to the Wimbledon final last year, as well as another contentious incident in which he decided to give a press conference while eating sushi, which didn’t sit well with many people.
During the interview, Morgan asked Kyrgios: “How would you feel if, while we’re talking right now, I just started munching on sushi?”
Kyrgios replied: “If I were talking to Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic, I’d be like, yeah, no, 100 percent. But Piers Morgan, it’s like, it’s a problem.”
