Coco Gauff has the ability to claim the world No. 1 spot in 2024, and there’s a chance it could happen as soon as the first half of the following season.

After the 2023 season, Gauff surpassed Jessica Pegula to become the No. 3 ranked player in the WTA, marking a career high. Gauff has not looked back since she cracked the world’s Top 10 in the summer of 2022, and she is now aiming to reach new heights the following year.

During her US swing, the 19-year-old had an incredible campaign in which she won three titles, including her first Grand Slam. Gauff became the latest addition to an eye-catching roster of former American athletes who achieved a Grand Slam during their teenage years during the Open Era.

Gauff was recently spotted swimming in a pool, and it appears that she is struggling to get to the aisle while looking exhausted. She laughed as she reached the end of the line and took off her swimming goggles.
