Tough luck for Pico Monaco that had to surrender to a wrist injury occurred during his match against Haase in Kitzbuhel.
Pico had to retire against the Dutchman when he was 6-2 1-1 down. At a certain point the Argentine had a sharp pain to his wrist to surrender.
After a checkup it was confirmed that Monaco had to go under the knife, so he will be back to Buenos Aires for the operation.
As we all know it will take almost 1 year from him to recover, we just hope he won’t go to the same surgeon as Del Potro’s… there was something wrong over there.
