Paula Badosa, the former World No. 2 player, recently revealed her plans for her comeback competition as she resumed training while recovering from an injury.
In May, Badosa was competing in the 2023 Italian Open quarterfinals when she sustained a stress fracture in her spine. Because of the fatal injury, she was forced to miss the whole of the clay court season, including the French Open.
In the 2023 Wimbledon tournament, the Spaniard made a remarkable comeback, making it to the second round. However, she was forced to withdraw from her match with Marta Kostyuk.
The Canadian Open was then planned for Badosa, but she was compelled to withdraw at the last minute. She later withdrew from the US Open again, missing out on a first-round match against seven-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams.
As Badosa revealed on social media that she is back in training and has resumed her exercise routine, things are finally beginning to get better for her. She recently shared a video of herself working out on Twitter, and it appears that she is making every effort to return.
