Rafael Nadal surprises tennis fans with a potential comeback to professional tennis

Rafael Nadal finally discussed his return yesterday, much to the joy of tennis fans. Only hours after hinting at a potential return, Nadal made another significant announcement.

The legendary Spanish tennis player, Rafael Nadal lost in the second round of the Australian Open when we last saw him competing in professional tennis. He has since been sidelined by a muscle injury that has taken months to heal. To the delight of tennis fans, the Spaniard did finally speak out about his comeback yesterday. Nadal has made another significant announcement just hours after hinting at a possible comeback.

Nadal provided yet another social media update about his return a short while ago. He shared more information about his comeback to action on his official Instagram account.

The Spanish player shared his picture on Instagram and captioned: “I confirmed yesterday I’ll be back. Stay tuned these days when I decide and announce with my team when and where.”

Nadal is back in the gym following his injury recovery. He discussed yesterday his feelings upon returning to the court and whether he plans to resume playing competitive tennis.

Talking about his, he said: “Until now, I didn’t know if I would ever play tennis again, and now I sincerely believe that I will play tennis again. Every time I am able to train a little more, the evolution seems to be good.”
