World no.78 Teliana Pereira had a rather good week.
The Brazilian managed to win her 2nd career title (after Bogota in this year) to be the second Brazilian to win a WTA title on home soil after Dias in 1987 (Guaruja).
In the final Pereira defeated Annika Beck 6-4 4-6 6-1 after a 2 hours and 36 minutes battle. Match Stats.

Teliana commented “I have no words to describe what I’m feeling right now. When I came here I didn’t know if I would be able to play – my knee wasn’t so well – so I can’t believe I managed this victory. It’s the best day of my life. I’m living a dream right now.”
