Novak Djokovic had a rather tough opening match on Sunday at the ATP Finals when it took more than 3 hours before he managed to defeat Holger Rune. There was a lovely moment at the beginning of the match when a sweet ballgirl seemed to have something to say to the Serbian champion. Nole has a great heart and obviously was very careful in paying attention to the young girl.

At the moment ranked no.1, the Serbian played his last match on the 12^th

of November when he overcame world no.10 Holger Rune 7-6(4) 6-7(1) 6-3 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).

During this season Novak achieved a composed 52-5 match record. Novak clinched 6 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open, French Open, Cincinnati, U.S. Open and Paris. The Serbian was the finalist in Wimbledon.
