Roger Federer is arguably (definitely?) the best tennis player in history and playing a full match with him would be unbelievable even if a 6-0 6-0 trash can be taken for granted.
Why the charity?
Leonardo Di Caprio’s charity gala was aimed at helping the environment “Tonight’s event is about supporting LDFs efforts to protect key species like the tiger, rhino, shark, and mountain gorilla by working with governments to conserve the jungles, coral reefs and forests they call home”
Federer as one of the prizes
There were many items to be auctioned from art to luxury items. In addition some incredible experiences were also sold such as a seat in David Beckham’s private box at Wembley Stadium, a stay at Di Caprio’s private island (Belize) and the icing of the cake (at least for us) was a 1 to 1 match with King Roger.
Eventually the gala raised a mind-blowing $40 million.
We are curious to know who will play Roger. We guess that is not Rafa!
