What we like of tennis is that it is a fully meritocratic sport were deserving people manage to get the results without the help of anybody… If there is a wrong call, you can review it with the eyehawk. No matter the family and the affiliations, you just go and get your ranking, you sweat and you win (or you lose). It’s you, your emotions and your opponent. It’s not about if you are the son, the sister, the brother, the nephew. …ehm… ok… forget it.
Mark Djokovic ranked 867, with a whopping high ranking (628) and with a 0-2 record on the ATP tour receives a Wild Card. Last time he had a wild card it was at the Thailand Open when he was defeated by Nieminem 6-2 6-0.
We really like to see Novak’s tennis and his humor around the court and during the interviews (the imitations of Sharapva are hilarious). We enjoyed his incredible 2011 season and the magic he produced in the 2011 against Roger. We were impressed by his final against Rafa in Australia. We like his clean image and we really like to see his strong bonds with his team and his family, but we wonder if this is not too much.
