Lendl to coach Dimitrov?

Grigor Dimitrov is having a rather frantic summer.

The Bulgarian has parted ways with his coach Roger Rasheed, he has probably split from Maria Sharapova and now he is reported partnering with Ivan Lendl!

Ivan Lendl has always seen lots of potential in Grigor Dimitrov (that wasn’t difficult) and in 2013 he commented “Take Grigor Dimitrov, who has played some great tennis against Andy and against Novak Djokovic this year.  That guy comes out so hot, but we know, and so does Novak, he can’t sustain it. If he could he would be No 1 in the world.”

Training in Florida

Grigor is now in Florida having a hit with Ivan. Usually these guys start like this: before you try and see how they mix, then they go for it. So, even if Lendl dropped Murray last year and he wasn’t interested in coaching Berdych, he may give it a shot with Grigor.
