Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios will be the “super-mega stars” of the Singapore Slammers.
The IPTL (International Premier Tennis League) had a huge success last year and they decided to give another shot in 2015 to feature 5 teams (1 more than 2014 with the addition of the Japan Warriors).
The Singapore Slammers have just added the world no.1 to their line-up to now have Djokovic, Kyrgios, Melo, Bencic, Kokkinakis, Pliskova and Moya.
The Singaporean Team will be sponsored by UD Trading Group Holding. The chairman Prateek Gupta commented “He [Djokovic] is one of the greatest players in the game and to have him represent Singapore is a rare honour.
We hope all of Singapore will get behind him and the rest of the Slammers when they play on home soil come December. It’s time to ‘play differently’ and embrace a fresh and exciting tennis concept.”
