Mardy Fish has been through quite a lot in his career.

The former world no.7 has been sidelined for some time after an injury to his left wrist in 2005 (he recovered after 2 surgeries). Then the American had a great career to manage to break in the top10 (no.7 was his best rank). Eventually Mardy suffered from a strange illness in the past couple of years: Fish had to go in and out the tour because of an accelerate heartbeat that at times made things rather scary.

At 33 years of age and with a weird heart condition it is not advisable for Fish to go back in full steam on tour, so it was time for Mardy to call it a career, but before he decided to play the American summer and then the US Open.

Fish tweeted his idea My schedule this summer will be Atlanta, Cincinnati, and I will finish my career at the US Open. #lastride.

So far Mardy has won 6 titles and he has reached 14 finals. Let’s see if he can add anything more at the very end.

AT THE END OF THE DAY IT WAS FUN!
