Novak Djokovic Humble About Goat Status And Enjoys Family Time Ahead Of Paris Masters

Novak Djokovic, often regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time, remains humble about his status as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time). Despite his impressive tournament record, Djokovic refrains from declaring himself the best in the game.

When asked about his esteem, especially in light of Rafael Nadal’s praise in Paris, Djokovic responded,

“No, I’m not going to say I am the greatest player of all time. It’s not up to me to say things like that. I leave it up to others. Obviously, I’m very proud that my greatest rival could say such things, but I leave this discussion to other people.”

The Serbian tennis sensation acknowledges his pride in his achievements but prefers to let others judge his GOAT status. He emphasized that his priority is focusing on his current performance and the present

Djokovic has been relishing his time away from tennis by enjoying holidays with his wife and children, following his victory at the US Open. He revealed that he used his free time to play golf and keep up with Belgrade club basketball. Djokovic humorously admitted that his golf skills are not on par with his tennis prowess

Reflecting on his break, Djokovic said,

“It was wonderful to be with my family, especially with my wife, my children. I did try to use my free time to play golf, to follow other sports, as well. I’m a big fan of basketball. So, I followed all the Belgrade club matches.”

Despite his leisurely activities, Djokovic expressed his longing for tennis and the competitive spirit. He is eager to return to the court, especially in Paris, where he feels the support of his fans.
