Caroline Wozniacki is only 25 years old, bu it seems that she has been around forever.
The Dane started her career quite early when she was just 15 and that was exactly 10 years ago. So the world no.4 posted a pic of her first match. Caro didn’t start her official pro career with a boom (she lost 6-3 6-0 against Patty Schnyder in Cincinnati), but soon after she had much more joy (she has now 23 titles… no slams yet).
Caro posted “Exactly 10 years ago today I played my first WTA match and turned professional. I was just a girl with a dream of one day becoming one of the best tennis players in the world.
A dream that I have worked hard for as long as I can remember. 10 years on I am living my dream, playing on the biggest stages with the best fans in the world!
I can’t believe that those 10 years have just flown by! There is still so many things I want to accomplish and I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years bring!”
Well done, we are still waiting for her well deserved 1st slam!
