Novak Djokovic was delighted when he met renowned cellist Stjepan Hauser backstage at the latter’s concert in Belgrade. The 24-time Major winner even received a generous gift from his friend in the form of a collection of fine wines.
While he has been off the circuit, Novak Djokovic has been having fun. The Serbian was present at the Stark Arena in Belgrade on Tuesday for the concert by Croatian cellist Stjepan Hauser. He even played the saxophone for the audience during the music performance.
The cellist gave him a gift after the concert. After exclaiming ‘Hauser wine’, the two men started speaking in their native Bosnian. The wine showed up in a classy black box, and the Serb was obviously overjoyed to see it.

Now the world no.1, the Serbian played his last match on the 15th
of September when he beat world no.26 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-3 6-4 in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).Currently, during this season Djokovic owns a compiled 46-5 record. Djokovic has won 5 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open, French Open, Cincinnati and U.S. Open. Novak reached the final in Wimbledon.
Djokovic has scheduled to play next in Paris (Rolex Paris Masters). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 30th of October.
