Andy Murray plays a great match against Jo-Wilfrid Tsonga at the Queen’s Club.

Andy had to recover a 0-1 deficit for his team after Ward lost 6-4 6-4 6-1 against Gilles Simon. Eventually the encounter was smooth for the Scott that won in straight sets 7-5 7-6 (10) 6-2.

After the match Andy commented “There is always extra pressure, extra nerves. The one thing about Davis Cup is, if you lose, you still have the opportunity to come back the next day and win. But the pressure of playing for your country is obviously different. I’ve always enjoyed it.”

Next doubles

Now Great Britain and France have to play the doubles that should be decisive. In theory GB will play with Jamie Murray and Dom Inglot against Mahut and Gasquet, but both teams may change their line-up.
