Holger Rune With His Mother Smiling

Aneke Rune, the mother of Holger Rune, recently expressed her pride in her son’s integrity. With his straightforward remarks on and off the court, Rune has established a reputation. Speaking out against the Swiss for having schooled him, his verbal altercation with Stan Wawrinka became the talk of the town.

Holger Rune has been vocal about the criticism of his online opponents on multiple occasions without holding back. As a result, he has received harsh media criticism. He took a lot of heat from tennis fans this year at Wimbledon because he thought the doubles scoring system should be eliminated.

Despite the criticism directed at the 20-year-old, Aneke seems unconcerned, as she recently stated that the younger generation must be real and true.

She recently shared her remarks in a podcast: “I think it’s important for younger ones that someone dares to be themselves, and it costs something. It does, but it comes with a cost because you cannot please everybody if you say your opinion, and Holger had a lot of sh*t in the media, but he also has fans and followers in the media.”

Aneke stated that arrogant young people set a bad example for other young people. She added: “I think if you look at other youngsters, nobody is perfect. If you try to pretend that, as a young man, you’re absolutely perfect, then I think you give the wrong picture to all the other young kids that are 20 years old. They are not perfect; trust me, nobody is perfect when they’re 20.”
