Italian Tennis Federation President Highlights Room For Improvement In Jannik Sinner's Game

Italian Tennis Federation President Angelo Binaghi has offered his insights on the potential for improvement in the game of young Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner. While Sinner, at 22 years old, is widely regarded as one of the most promising talents in men’s singles tennis, Binaghi believes there is still room for growth and development in his game.

Binaghi’s assessment places Sinner in the company of other highly-rated young talents in the sport, such as Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and America’s Ben Shelton. He suggests that Sinner is a “less complete” player when compared to his peers, and there are aspects of his game that require refinement, including endurance, service, and smash.

Sinner’s 2023 season has been a mixed one, despite participating in the main rounds of all Grand Slam tournaments. He has only managed to reach the quarterfinals or beyond on one occasion. His most notable performance this year was at Wimbledon, where he reached the semifinals but ultimately lost to the current world number one, Novak Djokovic.

Binaghi’s comments highlight the ongoing journey of growth and improvement for Sinner as he continues to establish himself as a force in men’s tennis. The young Italian’s dedication and potential will be closely watched by fans and tennis enthusiasts around the world.
