Nadal close to crash out the top10

Rafael Nadal is having a rather ugly season.

The Spanish Legend didn’t manage to achieve much on clay in 2015 (he has won only in Buenos Aires) and he crashed out pretty soon in Wimbledon (2nd round defeated by Dustin Brown).

After last Wimbledon, Rafa is still ranked no.10 (it never sounds right) and now world no.11 Gilles Simon is just 295pts from him. Nadal doesn’t really have many points to defend, but he needs to achieve more in 2015 if he wants to qualify for the World Tour Finals.

Other players

Nothing has changed in the top10, but we had some interesting movements in the top100.

After reaching the quarters in Wimbledon, Simon has gained 2 places to be ranked no.11. Another Frenchman, Gasquet, had a great run to reach the semifinals and climb 7 places in the rankings (now no.13).

Dimitrov lost in the 3rd round to Gasquet to lose 5 places and be ranked no.16. Not the year he dreamt about.

Pospisil has reached the quarters in Wimbledon to go up 27 places and be ranked no.29.

New bad boy Nick Kyrgios lost 12 places (now world no.41).
