The Canadian tennis sensation displayed her fine form by defeating Anna Blinkova in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5. Fernandez will now face the winner of the match between Martina Trevisan and Katerina Siniakova in the final on Sunday.

Fernandez, who has only dropped two sets throughout the tournament, expressed her thoughts on the challenging semifinal, acknowledging Blinkova’s power and confidence. She mentioned that her coach’s advice to enjoy the game and put on a show for the fans kept her calm in the face of strong competition.
