Tennis Influencer Rachel Stuhlmann Talks About Carlos Alcaraz And Jannik Sinner Rivalry At The Grand Slams

The rising rivalry between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz and their importance in Grand Slam discussions have been highlighted by tennis influencer Rachel Stuhlmann.

Tennis fans have been thrilled by Alcaraz and Sinner’s growing rivalry for the past two years. They were last seen competing in the Round of 16 of the Shanghai Masters. The young rivals, who have already met three times this year, are neck-and-neck, with Sinner having one more victory in their seven tour-level contests.

Stuhlmann expressed her opinion on the Italian’s chance of winning Grand Slams, claiming that Carlos Alcaraz, who has already won two Majors, is outclassing him because of his domination.

She expressed her views about the two young players in a podcast and said: “Jannik Sinner’s been a little bit overlooked. It’s been all about Carlos Alcaraz. Jannik’s the one that really gives Alcaraz that tough battle. Besides Djokovic, he’s that player. It’s his toughest competitor.”

Jannik Sinner, who earlier this year won the ATP 250 in Montpellier and his first Masters 1000 trophy in Toronto, has now won the China Open in Beijing. Stuhlmann reiterated her perspective and noted that Sinner has started to establish himself.

She added: “I feel like he has been overlooked, but, he’s young. He got that big win in Canada; he got this win last week. I think he’s really starting to prove himself.”
