Nick Kyrgios has gained a big attention after his “not-Wimbledonlike” manners at the Championships.
The irascible Australian was continuously arguing with the umpires (in a rather disrespectful way) and he has been heard many times shouting obscenities.
Nick has bee fined £6,090, £4,800 was for unsportsmanlike behavior (making fun of the umpire etc.) and £1,290 was for an audible obscenity.
Kyrgios has won £127,000 in prize money after reaching the 4th round, so he shouldn’t struggle much with this fine. He probably needs to correct his behavior to win more to earn more… even in terms of respect.
