Vika Azarenka is often questioned about her loud grunting. Things didn’t change after her match against Serena Williams (lost in 3 sets) in Wimbledon.
Azarenka: Nadal grunts louder than me!
During the press conference Vika looked quite annoyed with the recurring question on grunting to say “I’m tired of these questions. It’s annoying as guys grunt. I was practising next to Nadal and he grunts louder than me and nobody noticed it. Look at the good stuff.
Then she added “Maybe it is time to put it aside and not talk about it all the time because this is not what is important when there are two players playing on Centre Court. Stop bringing up this ridiculous stuff. Let’s put aside the noise, how she looks and look at the game. The game proved itself today.”
She may have point, but… what about taking care of that grunt?
