At the Qi Zhong Stadium on Monday, Russian Andrey Rublev defeated Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 6-3, 6-0, and advanced to the round of 16 of the Shanghai Masters.

Rublev made a break in the opening set’s second game, which gave him an advantage and helped him to win. Mannarino had break points during the Russian’s service games, but Rublev was saved on both times by aces.

Rublev complained to the referee throughout the game about the behavior of the spectators, who he felt were creating too much noise. They were instructed to be quiet by the referee.

After beating Mannarino, Rublev came to shake hands with him on the court and said: “Sorry man, I played unreal today.”

In a joking tone, the Russian laughed as he uttered these words. Rublev also praised Mannarino’s performance at the Astana the week earlier.
