Stefanos Tsitsipas seems to like a lot playing competitions.

In February, the Greek decided to compete in 4 back to back tournaments (Sofia, Rotterdam, Marseille, and Dubai) to admit that he had a burnout after that tour de force. Eventually, Stefanos had a not so good stint during the following Sunshine Double where he recorded a 2-2 win-loss record after he crashed out in the opening match in Indian Wells and he lost in the 4th round in Miami.

Fast forward to the clay court season and the Greek decided to play back to back Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Estoril, Madrid, and Rome.

Why playing also doubles?

Besides his heavy workload in singles, Stefanos also decided to compete in doubles in Madrid with his friend Wesley Koolhf. Therefore the world no.9 has been scheduled to play 3 matches in 2 days

. In fact, after he won the doubles on Tuesday, on Wednesday he will have to play his opening match (singles) and after a couple of hours doubles again.

Is this too much?
