Stefanos Tsitsipas Warming Up With His Father Apostolos In Shanghai

Stefanos Tsitsipas recently announced the end of his coaching relationship with Mark Philippoussis. The 25-year-old athlete claimed that while working with the Australian, he was losing his identity.

Tsitsipas added that Philippoussis, who would be filling the position with his father Apostolos, had resumed working with him before the US Open. Tsitsipas recently changed his coaching arrangement in a variety of aspects.

Tsitsipas has returned to his father’s previous coaching arrangement and has stated that this would be his setup moving forward. He said: “My dad has always been next to me. Even when he was not there and people didn’t see him he was always there by my side digitally. He’s here to stay. I have no intention of ever changing my dad or pushing him away. People are always going to try and create rumors or try and destroy what you have with someone who is really close to you in any way or form. He’s someone that cannot be excluded.”

Tsitsipas was recently seen putting up a lot of effort during an effective workout session in Shanghai with his father Apostolos ahead of a match in Shanghai.
