The match
The Romanian didn’t start in the best possible way as she was broken as early as in the 3rd game (1-2) before the Brit consolidated her lead (1-3). However, things changed dramatically from the 7th game when Simona conquered 11 of the next 13 games to win the match 7-5 6-1 in 88 minutes.
