Nick Kyrgios is the new “tantrum guy”. The young Australian wins high quality matches adding some spice every now and then. In the first 2 matches in Wimbledon he decided to have a couple of useless (but entertaining) arguments with the umpires, in the 3rd round against Raonic he managed to bounce the racket to the public!
What happened?
Nick failed to convert a break point to have one of his tantrum and smash the racket on the court. Problem is nowadays rackets are rather “explosive” and the gear bounced back on the public. It was funny to see the face of the lines judge.
Eventually a spectator gave back the racket and Nick got his formal warning…
Why he was closed to be disqualified?
Nick was quite lucky. In fact, if that racket would have bounced at the lines judge his Wimbledon would have come to a very silly end. He should start to pay attention to this.
