It’s not an easy season for Rafael Nadal.
The world no.2 started his run in 2019 in fantastic fashion after he reached the final in Melbourne dismantling all the opponents on his way before being (badly) defeated by Novak Djokovic.
Rafa had a not so good clay court season (compared to is stellar standards on the dirt) to lose in the semifinals in both Monte Carlo and Barcelona to arrive titless in May (1st time since 2004).
The Spanish sensation was meant to bounce back in Madrid, but unfortunately he is battling with a stomach bug,
and he had to cancel many training sessions alongside some press conferences.Back to training
The good news is that Rafa was finally back to the practice court on Monday to try to get ready for his first match that will be played against Felix Auger-Aliassime on Wednesday.
