Djokovic dismisses Tomic in straight sets

Novak Djokovic has a comfortable win against Bernard Tomic in the Wimbledon 3rd round. Nole was just too solid and spot on for the Australian that had no answers to the world no.1.

Djokovic scored 96 points vs. Tomic’s 67 to win 6-3 6-3 6-3 in just 92 minutes. Match Stats.

Djokovic: I returned well

Nole commented “I managed to get a lot of returns back in play. I think I executed tactically everything I intended before the match to move him around the court, mix up the pace, not really give him the same look. I think overall I played a really, really good match.”

Tomic: He played very well

Bernard paid his respects to the world no.1 “I played okay. He was playing very good. It just shows you why he’s the best. In those tough games, the score looked a lot closer than it was. It was very close in moments, but somehow in those big points he just gets that… I can’t even describe it in words. To get to that level, you need to work hard.”

Next vs. Anderson

Nole will play Kevin Anderson in the 4th round. Head to head is 4-1 for the Serbian that has never conceded a single set in the last 4 matches.
