ATP RANKINGS. Federer, Tsitsipas, Garin UP. Zverev DOWN

Federer, Tsitsipas, and Garin are the movers of the week

Federer and Tsitsipas

2 tournaments were staged last week on the ATP tour in Munich and Estoril. The outcome generated some small changes in the rankings.

Roger Federer

The Swiss didn’t play last week, but since Alexander Zverev was unable to defend his title in Munich, he dropped 205 points to lose his world no.3 rank to Roger that is clearly aiming at the very top of the rankings.

Stefanos Tsitsipas

The Greek won his 2nd career title in Estoril after playing an excellent tournament. After this win, Stefanos goes 1 place up in the rankings to be the new world no.9.

The Greek sensation Tsitsipas wins the Estoril Open to claim his 3rd ATP title

Christian Garin

The Chilean won his 2nd career title in Munich after his recent triumph in Houston. After this win, Christian has a strong 20-8 win-loss record in this season (18-4 on clay). Garin goes 14 places up in the rankings to be the new world no.33 (career high and more to come).

Christian Garin triumphs in Munich

Alexander Zverev

Sascha is struggling with his tennis and overall confidence. The German failed to defend the title in Munich, and he so loses 1 places in the rankings to Roger Federer to be the new no.4. Zverev may lose many more points if he doesn’t find a way back soon as he needs to defend his title in Madrid (1000pts) and he was the runner-up in Rome (600pts).
