Paula Badosa Poses A Goodbye

Injuries and poor performances have dropped Paula Badosa’s ranking this year from 13 to 54, and now the Spanish is once again out of the tour due to an injury. Badosa has been updating her fans on her life through social media, and in one of her most recent posts, she got very sad as she talked about her desire to return to sport as soon as possible.

The injuries that plagued Badosa’s 2023 year ultimately led to her demise. During Wimbledon, she returned to the sport, and after triumphing in the opening round, she gave her supporters encouragement. Her health wasn’t good enough, therefore she had to leave the game after the first round with the intention of getting better and returning at full strength.

Badosa expressed her frustration to her supporters about the recent lack of professional tennis. She posted on her Twitter account and wrote: “I miss tennis sooooooo much.”

She added another post with a caption: “And I wanted to give a special thank you to everyone here that supports me and that sends me kind messages. Makes me very happy in these moments.”
