Coco Gauff is finally back to competitions in Beijing where she will compete in the local WTA 1000 event. Seeded no.3, Coco will be opposed by Ekaterina Alexandrova in the first round. Coco’s comeback was celebrated by an exciting video posted on Instagram by the WTA and the China Open.

Currently the world no.3 (career-high), Coco played her last match on the 9^th of September when she beat world no.1 Aryna Sabalenka 2-6 6-3 6-2

in the final of the U.S. Open to win her 6^th career title.

Presently, during this year Coco has achieved an overall 45-13 win-loss record. The American clinched 4 titles in 2023 in Auckland, Washington, Cincinnati and U.S. Open.
