For Naomi Osaka, beauty and life in general look very different right now after giving birth to her first child, Shai, in July while taking a break from tennis. Since then, she has discovered a new definition of peace that she’s sure most mothers can identify with. In a talk with Marie Claire, Osaka explains that waking up knowing that her daughter Shai is fine, is her first priority.
In terms of beauty, Osaka claims that she doesn’t leave the house very much these days, much less dress up, so when she does, it’s something special. Osaka most recently appeared on the red carpet to celebrate the premiere of Victoria Secret’s The Tour ’23, and though she looked stunning in sparkling gold eyeshadow and rosy cheeks, her outfit was the true focal point.
She said: “What I wore kind of centered around the really beautiful corset that Victoria’s Secret sent. And I really loved it and I’ve never seen anything like it.”
