Felix Auger Aliassime in Madrid

Felix Auger-Aliassime is getting ready to compete at the upcoming ATP1000 in Madrid after he received a well-deserved wildcard for the main draw.

Currently ranked no.30, the 18-year-old has a great shot at breaking in the top20 being ranked no.13 in the Year to Date rankings.

Felix has a 20-10 win-loss record in 2019, but he wasn’t impressive this year on clay (a surface he cherishes) with a 2-2 win-loss record after he lost in the 2nd round in Monte Carlo (d. by Zverev 6-1 6-4) and in the 3rd in Barcelona (d. by Nishikori 6-1 6-3).

The Canadian didn’t play in Madrid last year as he was mainly involved playing in the Challenger Tour.
