Tough luck for Simona Halep in Madrid after she received a rather tricky draw.

The Romanian will try to win her 3rd title in Madrid after her triumphs in 2016 and 2017. If Simona conquers this edition, she has the chance to become the world no.1 if Naomi Osaka will not reach the semifinal.
