Carlos Alcaraz will face off against American rival Tommy Paul in an exhibition match as part of the Tennis Fest event in the Bullring in Mexico on November, 29. It promises to be a fun event for tennis fans with matches including prominent and entertaining stars.

Paul and Alcaraz have encountered each other four times, with a 2-2 head-to-head record. Three of the games were top-notch contests with Paul winning their first meeting in Montreal last year by scores of 6-7(4) 7-6(7) and 6-3.

After their quarterfinal matchup in Toronto last month, Alcaraz spoke about Paul’s strengths in a press conference. He stated his remarks about Paul and said: “He’s certainly a complete player. You know, the matches that we have played have been really tough ones. He’s a really solid player. Has great talent, and great shots. He’s really, really fast as well. So he’s one of the best players in the world right now. There’s no doubt about it. He’s really tough on every surface. I mean, he’s a mix of everything. It makes him really, really tough.”

Paul also discussed how he played during his most recent win over the 20-year-old Spaniard at the ATP Masters 1000 competition. He said: “I played a really good match today. I really went after my shots. You can’t start any points on your heels against him or he’ll take advantage of that. So you really have to go after your shots early in the rally and I was feeling really good on the first-strike tennis. That was the difference today. It helps to know that you can beat your opponent.”
