MADRID. Naomi Osaka is in great mood ahead of her practice in Madrid.
The world no.1 has been struggling with an abs injury that prevented her from playing he semifinal in Stuttgart. The Japanese then headed to Mallorca to train at the Rafa Nadal Academy before going to Madrid.
Osaka was confident that her injury was not so serious and she appeared rather relaxed and happy ahead of her training in the Caja Magica.
The Japanese needs to reach at least the semifinal to maintain her world no.1 rank that once again is in jeopardy (see article)
