On Sunday in Vancouver, Ben Shelton celebrated his unbelievable Laver Cup victory with the Team World. After Saturday’s round of play ended in a draw, Team World entered Sunday’s play 10-2 up, which meant that three points from any of the four rubbers on Sunday would be sufficient for overall victory.

Team Europe’s Hubert Hurkacz and Andrey Rublev faced off with the American pair – Frances Tiafoe and Ben Shelton. John McEnroe guided Team World to their second straight Laver Cup victory. After winning the Laver Cup in London last year, Team World successfully defended their title.

Ben Shelton expressed his feelings on the court after the win and said: “It’s been crazy for me and I’ve enjoyed being in a team environment. I’ve enjoyed playing for Johnny Mac. Team World really brought the energy this week.”
